Ben Lee - The Rebirth Of Venus - 2CD - (Ltd.Ed.)-2009-404


Not really a Ben Lee fan myself, but i imagine there would be some people interested in this release so here it is ;) Ben Lee’s latest album was just released by 404, which is due for release in the next few days. The limited edition includes 6 tracks (covers) which were never previously released all of which are on the second CD.

The inspiration for “The Rebirth Of Venus” is to
celebrate feminine qualities such as creativity and
compassion, hence the title. Ben Lee recorded with producer Brad Wood in LA, who also produced the smash album Awake Is The New
Sleep. Ben describes the new album as ôuplifting, joyful, beautifully chaotic, opinionated, confused, passionate and realö and an entirely different beast from the classic pop album, “Ripe”.

Features Yoko Ono, I Love Pop Music with Missy Higgins and Patience from the Grates on guest vocals
and the new single What’s So Bad (About Feeling Good).
